KARMA YOGA
September Karma Yoga Africa Yoga Project – Yoga Aid Challenge This September, Yoga One will be participating in the worldwide Yoga Aid Challenge, an international event where yoga and charity find a powerful connection, cultivating giving across the world.
Yoga One will host a Yoga Aid Challenge on September 18th from 4:15-6:15. This rocking class will consist of an inspired flow set to music, 108 Sun Salutations & exceptional instruction by Steve and friends.
The Yoga Aid Challenge is a donation class and all proceeds will go to Africa Yoga Project. www.africayogaproject.org. Our friend, fellow yogi and Baptiste Power Vinyasa teacher, Paige Elenson, founded the Africa Yoga Project (AYP) in 2007. AYP’s Mission: to empower youth, build a global community and increase well-being in East Africa through the power of Yoga. AYP has introduced hundreds of students in Kenya to the practice of Yoga, as well as provided education scholarships, job training, food stipends, temporary housing and health services, and constructed schools.
Come cultivate something amazing and help us spread the love! Donate the day of class, or online at http://yogaaid.com/yogaone
